Wanneer de jongensband DuJour dit ontdekt, zorgt hun manager ervoor dat zij in een vliegtuigcrash omkomen. Nu moet er een nieuwe band gezocht worden voor de slechte plannen van de platenmaatschappij. Dit wordt Josie and the Pussycats, die een groot succes worden.
