Symptomen: acute prikkeling van de lachspieren en heftig schuddebuiken. Diagnose? Pryor speelt een crimineel die doet alsof hij gek is om uit de gevangenis te blijven. Hij komt op de psychiatrische afdeling van een ziekenhuis terecht en dan begint de gekte pas goed, als hij tijdens een stroomuitval ontsnapt en zich als dokter verkleedt. Op de een of andere manier brengt Pryor orde in de chaos, zelfs als hij onorthodoxe lichamelijke onderzoeken doet, een baby ter wereld helpt en een helikopter als airconditioning gebruikt.
